It contain 104 seeds and 5 stones as 108 is a sacred number which is often used in mantra chanting and meditation. The one extra seed is to mark that the circle of 108 is completed. It is completely natural without any conservation chemicals as it is said to weaken the healing powers of the seed. It is delivered in a small case handmade of lLokta from the Himalayas.

The story goes that Shiva was sitting in the Himalayas in meditation, and the meditation was so beautiful that Shiva started to cry. His tears fell to the earth and became seeds that eventually grew to trees that today is known as Elaeocarpus ganitrus, where we find Rudraksha seeds.
