Welcome to join us in the serene mountains of Norway for a space to rest, to embrace tranquility, a getaway to cultivate gratitude and joy. This is a break from the stress of daily life, a time for you to only focus on yourself, embracing moments of peace and happiness. The retreat offers a blend of movement and stillness, building strength and balance as well as letting go into the present moment and rest. We will embrace the changing of seasons as we are getting closer to the winter, a time to slow down and recharge.

The highlights are many
- Morning Vinyasa sessions with elements of traditional hatha yoga practice: Discover the joy of movement, let go and have fun on the mat while cultivating strength, flexibility, and stillness within, challenge your mind and body. We are two teachers to ensure individual attention with focus on alignment and adjustments.
- Restorative gentle evening yoga: deeply nourish your body and mind with a gentle evening session of small movements and long holds, allowing for profound relaxation and stress release.
- Rest and recharge: we will cultivate gratitude and serenity through guided relaxation and mindfulness practice, embracing release and deep rest.
- Sound bath: experience the power of vibrations, we invite you into the present moment with the help of traditional Tibetan sound and vibrational bowls.
- Yoga philosophy: small introduction to the traditional yoga philosophy and integrating calming breathing techniques
- Free time: immerse yourself in the beautiful nature, embark on rejuvenating hikes through breathtaking autumnal landscapes, feel the fresh air and enjoy the peace of being in nature. Nourish your body with healthy wholesome meals, veg buffet three times a day.
This retreat is suitable for everyone, from beginners to long term practitioners. In all the yoga classes we make sure to give lots of different options, aiming for everyone to find a practice that suits them and their individual development. We are always open for the participants to lie down and rest if that's what the body wants that day. Most important is to listen to the body and remembering that the time on the mat should be enjoyed.

Welcome to Nøsen mountain lodge
Far away from the citys hustle, high up the mountains, you find peace. Let nature do its work. Three hours away from the hustle and bustle of Oslo, surrounded by beautiful nature and wild mountains 906 meters above sea level, you find a place you can enjoy yoga, delicious healthy food and tranquility of mountains. Nøsen Yoga and mountain lodge has 35 rooms of various sizes, all of which have a distinctive cabin feel.
Nøsen Yoga Retreat is a high-mountain lodge, surrounded by pristine lakes, meadows and waterfalls. The region offers exciting opportunities all year around. Around Nøsen, there are several mountain tops reaching 1700 meters above sea level and great opportunities for skiing, cycling, paddling and hiking. The hotel has rich history, receiving its first guests as far back as in 1888.
Yoga
You will gain insight into several forms of yoga during the retreat. Each morning will start with a gentle flow, a dynamic form of yoga, with elements of hatha, the traditional form of yoga. In the evening it will be either gentle restorative class or yin, a relaxing session where the focus is on presence, breath, and inner peace. In all classes, there is an individual focus, and a combination of dynamic and static positions. The yoga classes are suitable for everyone, whether you are a beginner or experienced in yoga.
