How to get to Hagabrekka Wanderland

Hagabrekka Wanderland is beauitfully located in Flatdal in Seljord Commune, which is in the district of Telemark in Norway. With a view to the U-formed valley, surrounded by mountains, forests and wildlife it feels as you are completely immerged in nature, but still easy to reach. There is a dirt road all the way down to the property and if you arrive with bus we provide free pick up at the bus stop 'Århus knutepunkt' or 'Seljord skystasjon'.

Easy to travel to us from both east and west Norway 
By Car

Hagabrekka Wanderland is located only two hours drive from Oslo with car. But the GPS might take you the wrong way as we are hidden away in nature. So here is a description: follow the directions to ‘Nutheim’ (on Google maps/Mapsme etc.) there is a sharp turn where you follow the signs towards ‘Rauland’, after taking off towards Rauland you drive around 500 meters before taking the first turn to the left (there is a small sign on the right side of the street saying Hagabrekka Wanderland). After some hundred meters on a dirt road you reach a farm where you go left in the small crossroad. Our little 'off grid', hidden paradise is at the very end of the road.

By public transportation from Oslo Airport (OSL)

Option 1:

  1. From Oslo Airport (OSL), take a train to Oslo Central Station.

  2. From Oslo Bus Terminal (same location as the train station), take a direct Nor-Way bus to 'Århus knutepunkt' (2,5 hrs).

  3. We’ll happily pick you up for free at Århus knutepunkt bus station (10 min drive to the retreat center).

Option 2:

  1. From Oslo Airport (OSL), take a train to 'Skien'

  2. From 'Skien', take bus R1 to 'Seljord skystasjon'. You can order the ticket for both the train and bus together by searching for 'Oslo lufthavn (gardermoen)' to 'Seljord skystasjon' on the booking page below.

  3. We’ll happily pick you up for free at 'Seljord skystasjon' bus station (15 min drive to the retreat center).

By public transportation from Sandefjord Airport (TRF)

  1. From Sandefjord Airport Torp (TRF), take the free shuttle bus to the train station.

  2. Take the train from 'Torp stasjon' to 'Skien' where you jump on a bus (R1) that takes you to 'Seljord skystasjon'. You can order the ticket for both the train and bus together by searching for 'Torp stasjon' to 'Seljord skystasjon' on the booking page below.

As we are located between east and west Norway it is easy to reach our place from both sides. The main highway connecting the east and west is only 15 min drive from our property and there is many bus routes passing by.
